HARRISON FORD, FROM CARPENTER TO HAN SOLO

Harrison Ford is an important actor of the U.S.A., he was nominated to an Academy Award and is well known as the main character of a number films, among them Star Wars.

His parents were from different origins, Jewish and Irish-German, and both were involved in the media as an actor and a radio actress. When Harrison Ford was at school he worked on the school radio station; so after the school, in 1964, he went to Los Angeles to find a job in the radio. He didn´t find it but instead of it he found a job in small roles in movies. Because he wasn´t getting a better job, he started working as a carpenter and made several works, one of them to George Lucas, who gave him an opportunity of act again.

He acted as Han Solo in Star Wars and after that role everything went great to Harrison Ford and he became really famous.
